What we collect.

Vesper is a research tool over Florida public records. It needs very little about you, and this page says exactly what.

Scopeyour account · nothing sold, nothing shared SheetD-06 · rev 01 · day

Everything Vesper reports on — solicitations, purchase orders, contracts, appropriations, lobbying registrations, legislative records — is Florida public record, published by the State. None of it comes from you.

What we hold about you

DataWhy
Email addressIt is your account. Sign-in is a code sent to your inbox — there is no password to store.
Application detailsIf you applied for access: your name, firm, role and what you wanted to use Vesper for.
Questions you askQuestions put to Ask and the Concierge are logged with a short preview of the answer, so we can measure cost and improve results.
Saved itemsBids and vendors you save, so they follow you between devices.
Pages you openOne row per page load while signed in, to understand which surfaces earn their keep.
ErrorsWhen something breaks: the message, the page, and your browser or device, so it can be fixed.
Bug reportsOnly if you file one — your note and any screenshot you choose to attach.

What we do not do

  • We do not sell your data or share it for advertising. No advertisers, data brokers or ad targeting. The service providers below process data to operate Vesper.
  • There is no advertising and no ad tracking — no third-party trackers, pixels, or advertising cookies.
  • We do not build a profile of you or combine your activity with data from other sources.
  • We do not track you across other websites.

Who helps run Vesper

Outside services process information for specific parts of Vesper:

  • Account and sign-in services — your email address and account identifiers to establish and secure access.
  • Hosting and database services — the account, application, saved-item and operational records described above to run and maintain Vesper.
  • Email delivery services — your address and the messages needed for sign-in and notifications.
  • AI answers — questions you submit to Ask and relevant Vesper context are sent to OpenAI to generate answers.
  • Historical payment processors — may retain transaction records for past invoices, refunds, disputes and applicable retention obligations. Vesper did not store card details. New payment arrangements, if any, happen outside this app and do not automatically control account access.

How long we keep it

Account data lives as long as the account does. Question logs, page views and error records are operational and kept while they are useful for cost, diagnostics and product decisions. Delete your account and the data tied to it goes with it.

Your choices

  • See or correct your data — email us and we will sort it out.
  • Delete your account — from Settings inside Vesper, or by asking us. Deletion removes your account and the records tied to it.
  • Export — ask and we will send what we hold about you.

The mobile app

The Vesper iOS app is a client for the same account and the same data. It collects nothing beyond what is listed above, contains no advertising or third-party analytics, and sells nothing inside the app. If you enable notifications it stores a device token so alerts can reach you; turn them off and the token is discarded.

Security

Everything travels over HTTPS. Your data is scoped to your account at the database level, so one signed-in user cannot read another’s saved items, questions or account details.

Children

Vesper is a professional tool and is not directed at anyone under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes materially we will say so here and, for anything significant, by email.
